Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience required.
• Ability to read engineering/architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concept, budgetary and final estimate bid proposals with accuracy and professional quality.
• Consult with Estimating Staff, CFO and Senior VPs on bid crew rates, labor multipliers, costs and proposal content.
• Conduct Pre-Construction/CM meetings with design teams and stakeholders.
• Interact with clients, vendors and other departments to discuss and formulate estimates.
• Read and study bid package documents to ensure compliance with instructions to bidders, scope narratives, plans, and specs.
• Develop takeoffs, evaluate construction labor rates, and assess subcontract cost estimates.
• Review process designs and engineering specs for cost effectiveness and VE opportunities.
