Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimating and preconstruction for mission-critical data center and infrastructure projects.

This role requires developing accurate cost estimates, evaluating opportunities, and collaborating across engineering, operations, procurement, and project management to deliver competitive execution plans. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
• Experience estimating for mission-critical, data center, industrial, EPC, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating and preconstruction efforts for mission-critical and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed conceptual, design-build, EPC, and hard-bid estimates across project development stages.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, geotechnical information, schedules, and other project docs to support estimate development.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, and project management to develop execution strategies.
• Identify risks, constructability concerns, labor challenges, material impacts, and market conditions affecting costs.
• Support proposal preparation, bid reviews, value engineering, and client presentations.
