Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multidisciplinary cost estimation for complex facilities. You will develop capital cost estimates, analyze data, and prepare pricing for proposals, coordinating with engineers, schedulers and vendors.

Strong leadership and communication are essential. Ideal candidates have a solid background in civil engineering/construction management, 10+ years of related experience, and proficiency in Excel, Revit, and industry estimating tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in civil engineering or construction fields.
• Advanced understanding of estimating concepts, scheduling and risk.
• Experience leading small to mid-size project estimates and teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication; OS proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or discipline cost estimating generating capital cost and services estimates.
• Prepare cost/schedule products for proposals or contract negotiations.
• Provide technical direction to assigned personnel and coordinate with vendors.
• Develop unit rates, crew-based pricing and detail labor costs.
• Support estimate reporting, reviews and risk assessments.
