Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimating efforts for multi-discipline projects, including data centers and industrial facilities. You will develop capital cost estimates, frequency-based pricing, and basis documentation, coordinating with design and procurement teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in construction estimating, strong MS Office proficiency, and the ability to interpret schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office software.
• Advanced understanding of construction estimating concepts, scheduling and risk elements.
• Able to lead small project estimates and coordinate with disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or discipline cost estimating to generate capital cost and services estimates.
• Prepare cost/schedule products for proposals or contract negotiations.
• Develop unit rates and crew-based pricing for multidisciplinary estimates.
• Quantify escalation and prepare basis and assumptions documentation.
