Top Echelon Software LLC seeks a Senior Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to develop detailed cost estimates for large industrial EPC and design‑build projects in the Houston Channelview area. The role focuses on piping and mechanical systems within data centers and heavy industrial sectors.

You will prepare quantities, price labor/materials/equipment, review drawings, and collaborate with PMs and engineering teams to validate assumptions and strategies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years estimating in industrial construction.
• 10+ years estimating experience in industrial construction, piping focus.
• Strong knowledge of civil/structural cost drivers.
• Experience with EPC or design-build delivery is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical scopes.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing using Trimble Accubid and Excel.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents for accuracy.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to validate assumptions.
• Develop pricing for lump sum, unit rate, and time‑and‑materials proposals.
• Develop construction schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for alignment with scope and standards.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Support bid reviews, estimate reconciliations, and post‑bid handoff meetings.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and productivity benchmarks.
