Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. in Channelview, TX is seeking a Sr. Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to support large-scale EPC and data center construction projects in the Houston area.

The role focuses on cost estimation for mechanical, piping, civil, and structural scopes with minimal travel. You will develop detailed estimates, perform takeoffs, evaluate bids, and support value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Engineering or related field, or 10 years of related experience.
• 10+ years estimating experience in industrial construction with piping focus.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural cost drivers.
• Proficient in Trimble Accubid and Excel.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, civil and structural drawings.
• Analytical, organized and good communication skills.
• Experience supporting EPC or design-build delivery is preferred.
• Minimal travel for pre-bid site visits.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical scopes, with piping focus.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing using Accubid and Excel.
• Review drawings and specs for accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with PM, engineering, and construction teams to validate assumptions.
• Develop pricing for lump sum, unit rate, and time-and-materials proposals.
• Develop construction schedules in MS Project.
• Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for alignment with scope.
• Identify risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Support bid reviews, reconciliations, and post-bid handoff.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical data and productivity benchmarks.
