Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Strong ability to read plans, specs and contract documents.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimating process from preconstruction through bid submission.
• Review project plans, drawings and specifications.
• Prepare conceptual, schematic and hard-bid estimates.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials and subcontractors.
• Solicit, evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Identify scope gaps, risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project teams, owners and vendors.
• Maintain bid comparisons and estimate breakdowns.
• Assist with value engineering and pre-bid meetings.
