Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specs, and documents to understand scope, materials and labor needs.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals based on cost analysis.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and negotiate contracts.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through value engineering.
• Evaluate risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Work with project managers, engineers, architects to forecast costs.
