Job summary

Wainwright Talent Partners is seeking a dynamic Lead Estimator / Project Manager to drive construction projects from inception through completion, leading cost estimation, budgeting, and execution oversight to deliver on time and within budget.

You will coordinate with clients and internal teams, develop detailed estimates using OST, BuzzBid, Bluebeam and Procore, manage bids, scheduling, risk, quality, and safety, and report on progress and financial performance to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation and budget development.
• Proficiency with industry estimating software and project documentation.
• Strong negotiation and contract administration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of detailed construction estimates using OST, BuzzBid and Procore, ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project scope, specifications, and contractual requirements, facilitating clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage bid processes by reviewing plans, specifications, and contracts; negotiating terms with general vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Oversee all phases of project management, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk assessment, and quality assurance to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor construction site activities to verify adherence to safety standards, contract specifications, and project timelines while addressing any issues promptly.
• Control costs by tracking expenditures, managing change orders, and implementing effective cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress, estimates, and financial performance for internal review and client updates.
