Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 8 years related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepares design/build, engineer, construction management, guaranteed maximum price, and hard-bid estimates/proposals.
• Analyzes quotations prior to and on bid day.
• Evaluates bids of sub-contractors and suppliers for completeness of scope, delivery time, and compliance with specs.
• Enters quantity take-offs and material unit pricings for projects.
• Recognizes and applies work breakdown structure (WBS).
• Prepares opinions of probable construction cost estimates to applicable discipline.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes; reviews for completeness.
• Guides junior staff in estimating procedures and software.
• Manages bid day and close out activities.
