CDM Smith is hiring for an estimator to prepare and analyze design/build and construction management estimates, including GMP and hard-bid proposals. You will evaluate subcontractor bids, perform quantity take-offs, and coordinate with vendors to ensure complete scope and pricing.

The role requires reading drawings and specifications, strong cost control, and the ability to manage multiple trades with meeting tight deadlines. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent with related experience in estimation.
• Extensive experience in preparing design/build and other estimates and proposals.
• Travel up to 40% may be required depending on duties and project needs.

• Prepares design/build, engineer, construction management, and other estimates/proposals.
• Analyzes quotations before and on bid day.
• Evaluates bids from subcontractors and suppliers for scope, time, and specs.
• Enters quantity take-offs and material unit pricing for projects.

• Develops subcontractor/vendor scopes and reviews for completeness.
