Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
• Reads and comprehends drawings and specifications and identify missing elements during design development.
• Ability to perform conceptual estimates in multiple trades and review estimates in many trades.
• Travel is required, up to 20% - 40% depending on project duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares estimates and proposals for design/build, engineer, construction management, guaranteed maximum price, and hard-bid projects.
• Analyzes quotations prior to bid day.
• Evaluates bids of sub-contractors and suppliers for completeness of scope and requirements.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes and reviews for completeness.
• Manages bid day and close-out activities.
