Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimating and planning efforts for the region. This role focuses on supervising, mentoring, and developing conceptual to detailed estimates, while cultivating strong subcontractor relations and presenting outcomes to clients and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will bring eight years of estimating experience, a related Bachelor's degree, and a proven track record in managing large CM/GC at-risk or design-build projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related job field.
• Eight (8) years of estimating experience in construction or related job field. OR equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.
• Capability to complete large CM/GC Construction Management at Risk and Design Build projects and large complex competitive bid projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, check work, and mentor Estimators and Estimating Engineers.
• Develops and oversees conceptual estimates for assigned projects and supports planning/engineering groups.
• Leads major estimating efforts and develops clarified estimate reports.
• Cultivates subcontractor knowledge and relations and presents estimating results to clients.
• Mastery of estimating software programs including on-screen take-off.
