• 3+ years of experience estimating SCDOT and/or other state DOT heavy highway projects, plus large-scale site development.
• Strong skills in takeoff software (Agtek/Paydirt/Insite) and AutoCAD for modeling.
• Proven ability to lead bid preparation, reviews, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform takeoffs and quantity extraction for large civil and highway projects per SCDOT guidelines.
• Develop earthwork models and value-engineer grading plans with design engineers.
• Lead bid reviews from start to finish and mentor junior estimators.
