Georgia Development Partners, a 100% employee-owned firm, is hiring a Sr. Estimator in Atlanta, GA to lead site development bids from plan review through submission. Expect to manage grading, earthwork, utilities, and related costs, using AGTEK/HCSS tools and strong risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years estimating heavy civil and full site development projects.
• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred; equivalent field experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead bids: manage complete proposals from takeoff to final package submission.
• Prepare takeoffs: assess accurate grading, earthwork, utility, and flat work quantities.
• Models: build detailed dirt models using AGTEK for earthwork calculations.
• Develop pricing: substantiate production rates, labor needs, and equipment allocations.
• Coordinate vendors: solicit, compare, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Value engineer: review plans, soils reports, and project risks to identify savings.
