CRH-Preferred Materials Asphalt Division in Florida is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts, develop comprehensive cost estimates, and craft strategic bid proposals for complex civil projects. You will partner with operations and leadership to drive profitable growth and ensure successful transitions to operations.

The role emphasizes leadership of estimating teams, risk assessment, and collaboration across departments within CRH’s materials division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of heavy civil, roadway, asphalt paving, site development, or construction estimating experience preferred.
• Proven experience leading large-scale project estimates and competitive bid submissions.
• FDOT and public infrastructure estimating experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead preparation of complete, accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracts.
• Analyze plans and bid documents to identify risks, opportunities, and scope.
• Develop competitive bid strategies while maintaining profitability.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to validate production rates and methods.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators and staff.
• Lead bid reviews and present recommendations to leadership.
