Job summary

Crisdel Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced estimator/construction engineer to prepare detailed project estimates from concept through completion. You will review plans, specs, and geotechnical data, perform take-offs, and manage bid submissions with a focus on competitiveness.

You will leverage MS Office, HCSS Heavy Bid and related tools to compile accurate estimates, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely bid delivery for projects across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred), Construction Management or Engineering Technology.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents, technical specs, and government regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete project scope estimates with pricing and bid qualifications from concept to completion.
• Evaluate bidding risks and strategies to increase competitiveness.
• Review drawings, specifications, data and geotechnical reports.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Prepare take-offs and quantify data for estimates.
• Develop supplier relationships to ensure best pricing and value.
• Estimate costs for self-perform work: craft hours, labor, materials, and equipment.
• Identify indirect costs, scheduling and on-site facility needs.
