Job summary

Cash Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to bid and complete estimates for heavy civil and single-family subdivision road projects. The ideal candidate will understand civil construction means/methods, schedules and costs, and meet critical deadlines.

The role demands a self-starter attitude, strong client and team collaboration, and the ability to lead bid development from scope through proposal delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil estimating.
• Experience with self-perform work.
• Knowledge of earthwork, underground water/wastewater, underground drainage and street/highway construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bids, select vendors/subcontractors and estimate self-performed crew compositions and production rates.
• Make scope of work determinations and perform quantity take-offs.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients.
• 100% detailed understanding of project scope.
• Communicate and collaborate with Operations and Estimating team members.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and identify risks.
