Job summary

Bryant Staffing Solutions seeks a Senior Estimator to own complex heavy civil/roadway bids in Arizona. You will oversee estimating activities for roadway, aviation, and site development projects, working with internal stakeholders to craft competitive, risk-adjusted bid strategies.

You’ll lead cost estimation, risk analysis, and bid packaging, ensuring alignment with execution plans and business goals. Strong collaboration and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of heavy civil/roadway estimating experience
• Proficiency with estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, and geotechnical data to develop accurate estimates
• Conduct site visits and pre-bid assessments to identify risks and opportunities
• Determine scope breakdown between self-performed and subcontracted work
• Prepare and distribute bid packages to subcontractors and suppliers
• Develop detailed cost estimates using industry-standard tools
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals and provide award recommendations
• Lead internal bid reviews and align pricing with execution strategy
• Support BD efforts with win strategies and proposal positioning
