Job summary

Granite Construction in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop accurate proposals for private and public sector projects from $50 to $100 million. You will review drawings, specs, and site conditions, apply cost history, and produce timely, competitive bids for structural/underground work.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Eng, Construction Management or related field, 10+ years estimating, and proficiency with AGTEK, Primavera, and estimating software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 10+ years estimating experience; prior management experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and estimation software; knowledge of AGTEK and Primavera.
• Strong communication and understanding of DBE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present cost estimates and bid reviews with senior management.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and site conditions to ensure accurate estimates.
• Review take-offs and cost history to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with field operations to ensure scope clarity and execution feasibility.
• Lead bid opportunities, travel for regional IP/JV bids as needed.
