Job summary

MasTec Civil is seeking a Lead Estimator to drive bid packages for Florida transportation projects, including design-bid-build, design-build and lump-sum contracts. You will manage cost estimation, scheduling, risk analysis, and coordination with the Estimating team.

The role requires leadership, solid FDOT/MDX knowledge, and ability to mentor junior engineers while pursuing bid opportunities with state and local authorities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Heavy Civil: field position, and at least 5 years estimating in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Review owner authority updates and contract terms.
• Build breakdown of work activity with bid items and quantities.
• Create and analyze risk matrix and CPM scheduling.
• Lead bid submittal review and executive presentation.
