Job summary

MasTec Civil in Florida is seeking a Lead Estimator to grow the Florida market and lead a team in preparing bid packages from start to finish. You will manage cost-saving initiatives, CPM scheduling, maintenance of traffic analysis, and bid strategy to ensure competitive offers.

After winning bids, you will transfer documentation, present to management, and support buyouts, value engineering, and change-order analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Heavy Civil with at least 5 years estimating in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid package development from start to finish, including cost saving initiatives and risk analysis.
• Present bid submittals to executives and guide buyouts, value engineering, and change order analysis.
• Mentor engineers and estimator team; build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
