Job summary

L.F. Driscoll Company is seeking an Estimator to support our office in Bala Cynwyd, PA. The Estimator will oversee budgeting, bidding, leveling and awarding a diverse set of projects while coordinating with the project team through all phases of construction.

Responsibilities include managing $50-100M per year in estimates, preparing take-offs, and ensuring 3-5 bids per trade. The role requires strong MS Excel skills and experience with CMiC and Onscreen takeoff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in estimating, purchasing and related duties.
• Requires excellent computer skills (MS Office/Excel).
• 10+ years of experience in Estimating, Preconstruction or related duties in general contractor estimating and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the estimating process on assigned projects totaling $50-100M per year.
• Prepare quantity take-offs for budgeting with healthcare, Life Science and Data Center focus.
• Solicit subcontractor bids with 3-5 bids per trade.
• Complete subcontractor bid review and descope to meet project specs and schedule.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects and engineers.
