Performance Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator for its PCI Cincinnati 581 operations in Cincinnati, OH.

This experienced role focuses on preparing RFPs, evaluating subcontractor bids, and leading the estimating function to deliver accurate, timely proposals. Applicants should have 5–7 years of estimating construction projects and a total of 10+ years in the industry, with strong communication skills and a proven ability to manage costs and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of estimating construction projects.
• Total construction industry experience of 10+ years.
• Experience estimating or managing specialty scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Strong customer relationship track record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with cost analysis skills.
• Ability to read project schedules for sequencing and durations.
• Proficient with takeoff/estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs for applicable scopes of work.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes for alignment with bid documents.
• Develop relationships with local customers to support PCI objectives.
• Collaborate with owners, construction managers, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Attend pre-bid site walk-throughs.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and estimates.
• Dissect projects into functional stages and review schedules.
• Write detailed proposals with accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare bid analyses and conduct bid reviews; prepare financial job cost analyses.
• Source subcontractors, materials, and equipment; evaluate pricing.
• Provide training and leadership to estimating team as needed.
• Maintain accountability of business metrics and sales plans.
• Participate in bid strategy meetings for major pursuits.
