Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Estimator II for its PCI Cincinnati 581 operations based in Louisville, KY. This individual will estimate drywall, framing, acoustics, and interior finishes with strong takeoff discipline.

You will collaborate with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors, manage bid reviews, and hand off secured projects to Operations. A Bachelor's degree is preferred; 5+ years of estimating experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience estimating construction projects.
• Experience with estimating or managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Ability to read, interpret specs and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work.
• Proven track record in maintaining customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with takeoff and estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, PlanSwift.
• Understanding of estimating techniques and bidding process.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment or independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimates.
• Maintain relationships with area vendors for pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for work outside our self-performing scope.
• Understand market conditions for margin percentages.
• Participate in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project teams.
