Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Experienced Estimator for a Nationally Recognized Earthwork Contractor in Illinois. The role focuses on analyzing plans, estimating materials, labor, and equipment, and preparing bid proposals to win projects.

You will collaborate with project managers and engineers, review change orders, and monitor costs to keep projects on budget. A strong background in sitework estimating and proficiency with estimating software are required.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in construction estimating with cost control knowledge.
• Knowledge of construction management and project management processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements
• Estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for construction projects
