Qualifications

• Experience estimating in a relevant field.
• Strong cost control knowledge in construction estimating.
• Familiar with construction management and project management processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and contracts.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficient in estimating software and related tools.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed and comprehensive bid proposals for potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget.
• Review and analyze change orders and provide cost impact assessments.
• Utilize construction management software.
