Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimating for major infrastructure projects across the United States. You will generate capital and service estimates, analyze data, and support proposals with clear cost insights.

HDR values employee ownership and inclusion. This role requires at least 10 years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to lead small project estimates; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/construction field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years’ related estimating experience.
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office and estimating concepts.
• Experience with risk, scheduling, and cost control in large projects.
• Ability to lead small project estimates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or discipline cost estimating and capital/service estimates.
• Support estimate reporting and reviews.
• Provide technical direction to assigned personnel.
• Prepare cost/schedule products for proposals or negotiations.
• Develop unit rates and basis documentation for cost models.
• Participate in estimate reviews and presentations.
