Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company seeks a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts, develop bid strategies, and drive project estimates. You will compile take-offs, manage subcontractor solicitations, and ensure budgets align with client goals and MCC standards.

You will collaborate with design and operations teams to deliver accurate estimates, supervise pricing reviews, and contribute to owner deliverables and value management throughout the bidding process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications clearly.
• Familiarity with BIM, takeoff workflows and preconstruction processes.
• Strong communication with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish work teams and attend client/design meetings.
• Solicit vendors and develop bid strategies for projects.
• Create subcontractor solicitation lists and review pricing.
• Lead tab sheet reviews and ensure bid accuracy.
• Assist in precon deliverables and value management activities.
• Develop owner deliverables and project cost budgets.
• Support turnover and transition meetings.
