Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or trade experience or equivalent.
• Gold Seal certification in estimating.
• 12 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating with onsite experience preferred.
• Successfully led pursuits valued up to $250 million across hard bid, construction management, or design-build.
• Experience with self-perform estimate and productivity understanding.
• Knowledge of bid processes and contract delivery methods including hard bid, GMP, unit price, design-build.
• Ability to lead teams and maintain productive relationships with owners and peers.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analysis of contract documents and specs for various project delivery methods to determine requirements.
• Establishes critical path schedule with milestone dates to meet contract completion dates.
• Performs full quantity take-off of labor, equipment, and materials for large scopes.
• Prices general expenses and project-specific requirements for medium to large projects.
• Produces as-built estimates and trade buy-out strategies with operations.
• Prepares and presents estimate/proposal and client presentations.
