Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Estimator to support our national data center unit from the US Head Office in Denver, Colorado. You will lead medium-to-large estimates, develop win strategies, and mentor a team of estimators across regions.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree or diploma, 8 years of estimating experience, and strong command of bid preparation, takeoffs, and MS Office. We offer ownership opportunities, bonuses, comprehensive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience or equivalent.
• 8 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating; 6–12 months on-site preferred.
• Led pursuits valued up to $150M across delivery methods.
• Knowledge of bid preparation, quantity takeoff procedures and subcontractor procurement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads medium-to-large estimates or components of large estimates and leads win strategy development.
• Analyzes contract documents and specs to determine project requirements.
• Ensures full quantity take-offs of labor, equipment and materials.
• Develops conceptual estimates and supports submissions for pursuits.
• Coordinates with internal/external stakeholders to create schedules and execution plans.
