Qualifications

• Establishes and applies estimating techniques to projects.
• Strong cost control and material pricing understanding.
• Ability to read drawings and identify missing elements.
• Familiar with work breakdown structure (WBS) and multi-trade estimates.
• Proficient with estimating software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Prepares design/build, engineer, construction management, GMP, and hard-bid estimates/proposals.
• Analyzes quotations prior to and on bid day.
• Evaluates bids for completeness and compliance with scope and specifications.
• Enters quantity take-offs and material pricing for projects.
• Guides junior staff in estimating procedures and tool usage.
• Manages bid day and close out activities.
