Job summary

MPI, a leading construction general contractor in Atlanta, is seeking a Construction Estimator to join its team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing specifications and drawings, and collaborate with PMs, architects, and engineers to gather project details for accurate bids.

Responsibilities include sourcing vendor pricing, identifying cost-saving opportunities, maintaining cost databases, and presenting analysis to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with company standards

Qualifications

• Local to Metro Atlanta.
• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field.
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience in Commercial Construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary project details.
• Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive bids.
• Identify potential cost-saving measures and risk factors in project planning.
• Maintain and update cost databases for future reference and accuracy.
• Present cost analysis and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations in all estimates.
