Job summary

Roofing Talent America (RTA) in Providence, RI seeks an experienced estimator for commercial waterproofing and masonry service work, including emergency, maintenance and restoration projects. You will visit sites, diagnose envelope failures and build technical scopes across injection, joint sealants, façade restoration, flashing, coatings and structural masonry.

You will write clear proposals, manage pipeline in the CRM, and maintain accurate vendor and subcontractor costings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating commercial waterproofing and masonry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs and safety rules.
• Competent with takeoff/markup software (Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff).
• Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Most estimating desks price whatever comes through the door. This one scopes building envelope repairs, injection work, façade restoration, flashing, coatings, structural masonry.

Pricing does not happen from drawings alone. You visit the site, assess the condition, diagnose the fault, then build the scope.

Strong GC estimators are welcome here. If you have bid exterior packages and worked alongside waterproofing subs, the technical depth can be built.

The division is backed by a larger specialty contracting group with an expanding exterior services footprint.

Your Role

• Own accurate estimates for commercial masonry and waterproofing service work — emergency, maintenance and restoration
• Run field visits to assess existing conditions and diagnose envelope failures first-hand
• Build technical scopes across injection, joint sealants, façade restoration, flashing, coatings and structural masonry
• Write proposals that set out scope, pricing and recommended solution clearly enough for the client to sign
• Manage pipeline and opportunity tracking through the service and sales CRM
• Hold vendor and subcontractor relationships that keep your costings accurate

Key Requirements

• 5+ years estimating commercial waterproofing and masonry, or strong GC estimating with exposure to exterior envelope packages
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications and safety protocols
• Competent with takeoff and markup software (Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff or equivalent)
• Authorised to work for any US employer without sponsorship
