Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating ground-up commercial projects.
• Diverse commercial project experience across sectors.
• Develop accurate estimates, budgets, scopes, and bid proposals.
• Understand subcontractor scopes, costs, labor, pricing, and margins.
• Solicit, review, level, and negotiate subcontractor/vendor bids.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Evaluate change orders and potential cost impacts.
• Strong communication with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates.

Senior Estimator Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Proven experience estimating ground-up commercial construction projects
• Diverse commercial project experience across multiple sectors preferred
• Strong ability to develop accurate estimates, budgets, scopes, and bid proposals
• Thorough understanding of subcontractor scopes, material costs, labor, pricing, and project margins
• Experience soliciting, reviewing, leveling, and negotiating subcontractor and vendor bids
• Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
• Experience evaluating change orders, project costs, and potential cost impacts
• Strong understanding of project profitability and ability to contribute to accurate cost projections
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, but not required
