Job summary

Essenti Talent in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Senior Civil Estimator to lead our Civil Precon Department. You will oversee cost estimates for paving projects and present them to senior management, shaping winning bids and project execution.

You will mentor junior estimators and drive process improvements. The role requires a proven track record in civil estimating, strong communication with clients, and proficiency in Excel, Bluebeam, and bid software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an estimator in the civil industry.
• Proven track record estimating a range of civil projects (excavation, paving, grading).
• Proficient in Excel, Bluebeam and related bidding software.
• Excellent communication, client development and negotiation abilities.
• Sense of urgency on submitting complete bids on time.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and docs to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Lead bid processes for public and private sector projects.
• Identify labor, materials, and time requirements from plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.

We are searching for an experienced Estimator in Nashville to lead our Civil Precon Department.

As our Senior Civil Estimator - you will oversee, approve & present our competitive cost estimates for all paving projects we perform. Furthermore, Your expertise will directly impact the company’s ability to win more work and execute on those potential projects -- so We are looking for the Right Person to lead ( and grow) our preconstruction team.
