Methuen Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Chief Estimator based in Plaistow, NH. This on-site role requires managing multiple estimating projects while upholding company standards of quality and coordinating with operations for budget and schedule adherence.

The successful candidate will lead a team of estimators, oversee bid day activities, and drive process improvements to keep estimating practices at the forefront of the industry. Travel to Northeast sites is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of estimating experience across self-perform disciplines.
• Experience in complex industrial, heavy civil, or building construction.
• Understanding of water and wastewater treatment plant processes and construction standards.
• Experience leading/supervising estimators to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Periodic travel may be required based on project needs.
• Strong computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary party for all estimating assignments.
• Review contracts, specs, and drawings to identify risks and opportunities in pricing.
• Develop and manage the estimate schedule with discipline estimators.
• Distribute design and solicitation documents and maintain revision control.
• Review final multi-discipline estimate and prepare management reports.
