Experts Group International is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction cost management for a major data centre campus in Texas. You will own the cost strategy from concept through GMP, driving value engineering and risk management on a multi-building project valued at billions.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in construction estimating, experience with data centres or heavy industrial projects, and hands-on use of leading estimating platforms.

• Ownership of at least one project valued at $250M+.
• Experience with estimating platforms such as Destini, WinEst, Sage, Bluebeam or On Screen Takeoff.

Responsabilidades

• Lead conceptual, schematic and detailed estimates across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical packages.
• Own cost planning, quantity take-offs, bid levelling and subcontractor evaluations.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimisation across a large-scale, multi-building campus.
• Manage risk, contingency and escalation modelling, particularly across long-lead electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Work directly with the general contractor, trade partners and design teams to influence commercial and technical decisions.
• Benchmark costs against comparable hyperscale data centre projects.

I'm partnering on a confidential search for a Senior Estimator to join a major data centre construction programme in the Texas.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of preconstruction cost management on a 500 MW data centre campus with $5B in capital investment, currently under construction and targeting completion in July 2027.

We're looking for an experienced estimator who can operate beyond the numbers, challenge design decisions, drive value engineering and own the cost position from early concept through to Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP).

The Opportunity

• Lead conceptual, schematic and detailed estimates across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical packages.
• Own cost planning, quantity take-offs, bid levelling and subcontractor evaluations.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimisation across a large-scale, multi-building campus.
• Manage risk, contingency and escalation modelling, particularly across long-lead electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Work directly with the general contractor, trade partners and design teams to influence commercial and technical decisions.
• Benchmark costs against comparable hyperscale data centre projects.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of construction estimating experience.
• A strong background in data centres, mission-critical facilities, semiconductor or comparable heavy industrial projects.
• Previous ownership of at least one project valued at $250M+.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including switchgear, UPS, generators, chiller plants and liquid cooling distribution.
• Experience with estimating platforms such as Destini, WinEst, Sage, Bluebeam or On Screen Takeoff.
• Willingness to work on site in the Texas area.
