Job summary

Talent With Heart in Houston, TX is seeking a Sr. Electrical Estimator to support large-scale industrial EPC and data center construction projects nationwide. This role focuses on developing accurate, competitive estimates for electrical and instrumentation scopes.

You will review drawings, perform takeoffs, evaluate bids, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Data center experience not required, but strong electrical construction background is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating electrical work for industrial, commercial, EPC or mission-critical projects.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, specs, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and subcontractor bid evaluations.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam, McCormick, or Accubid is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction preferred, not required.
• Data center construction experience is a plus, not required.
• Ability to travel nationwide as needed.

Sr. Electrical Estimator – Industrial EPC & Data Center Construction

Location: Houston, TX

Fully onsite. 40-45 hours week M - F.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within the rapidly expanding data center market. Additional projects span the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors.

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex electrical construction projects nationwide, collaborating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop accurate and competitive estimates.

Prior data center experience is not required. We are interested in electrical estimators with strong technical construction backgrounds who can bring their expertise to this growing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, not required.

• Data center construction experience is a plus, not required.

• Ability to work independently and travel nationwide as needed.
