Job summary

GH Engage, partnering with an established commercial mechanical contractor in Florida, seeks a Senior Mechanical Estimator to develop accurate, competitive estimates for HVAC/mechanical projects from bid through handover.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings/specs/RFIs, performing takeoffs, and preparing subcontractor bids while collaborating with PMs, GCs, and vendors. This full-time in-office role offers growth within a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical estimating experience in a contractor setting.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, piping and duct systems.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, RFIs and addenda.
• Experience with mechanical estimating software (FastPIPE, QuickPen or similar).
• Full-time in-office work.

• Work closely with Project Management to ensure successful turnover of awarded projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with GCs, subcontractors and vendors.

This position will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates across commercial HVAC/mechanical projects, working closely with project management, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors from initial bid through project handover.
