Job summary

WYATT is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead estimating activities for complex power and industrial construction projects. The role oversees Lump Sum, Fixed Fee, and Time & Material estimates, driving profitability and successful execution.

The candidate will lead the estimating team, set bid strategies, review packages, and ensure estimates reflect project scope, labor, market conditions, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction estimating or construction management experience.
• Significant experience estimating projects within industrial and/or power construction environments.
• Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring an estimating team.
• Strong hands-on estimating background with the ability to evaluate complex project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage estimating activities to produce accurate, competitive, and timely project estimates.
• Review and approve final estimate packages before quotation for accuracy and alignment with scope.
• Develop estimating and bid strategies to support regional growth and profitability objectives.
• Mentor estimators and assign work based on experience and workload.
• Develop and improve estimating procedures, templates, pricing tools, and cost databases.
• Perform labor analysis, cost modeling, forecasting, and scope development.
