Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Estimating Manager for the newly formed AMER Estimating and Cost Control (ECC) org. The role leads mega-cluster estimating, sets standards, and mentors junior staff while partnering with Cost Control, Preconstruction, Design Engineering, and Finance across AMER.

You will influence senior leadership decisions, drive portfolio-wide benchmarking, and manage a growing 3P vendor program within a data-center focused delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating, cost management, or quantity surveying in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and influencing standards beyond a single project.
• Proficiency with cost estimating tools and databases (RSMeans, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff) and the ability to interpret drawings across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Own estimating for multiple mega clusters aligned with Cost Control, Preconstruction, and Construction Management counterparts.
• Serve as AMER-wide estimating expert establishing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Lead third-party estimating vendor program and scale capacity across AMER.
• Lead estimate-to-actual feedback across cluster groups and benchmark data.
• Mentor junior Estimating Managers and Discipline Estimators to build capability.
