Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• EVMS, Primavera P6 or COBRA preferred
• Project controls experience with estimating or scheduling
• Minimum 5 years estimating or project controls experience
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs work schedules and daily activities for the estimating department
• Implements technical estimating standards and procedures
• Solicits supplier bids and proposals for labor, material and equipment and evaluates proposals to ensure they meet project specifications and budget requirements
• Ensures milestones and budgets are met and aligned with approved plans
• Performs estimating through standard EnergySolutions software
• Interfaces with finance on budget and business plan preparation
• Maintains documentation for all estimating activities
• Recruits, manages, trains, counsels, evaluates and disciplines department staff
• Ensures staff adhere to company policies and are treated fairly
• Supports safety culture and mandatory safety meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned
