Job summary

nLogic seeks an experienced ESS Terminals Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA. The role designs, implements, and maintains complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems that support National Leadership Authority capabilities and Protected SATCOM Terminals.

You will work with SE&I, contractors, and USSF members to define requirements, oversee development, and lead technical projects.

Qualifications

Current in-scope Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or related technical field
12+ years’ engineering experience
5+ years’ Systems Engineering experience (requirements, baseline, test planning, integration)
Experience developing/managing requirements or ICDs for complex systems
Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
On-site work in a secure facility

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems
Collaborate with external organizations to analyze requirements and oversee development/implementation
Lead technical projects and contribute to best practices and documentation
Interface with SE&I team, contractors, government civilians and USSF members for acquisition management
Support MILSATCOM systems, integration of space and ground communications
