Job summary

The Lead Retirement Specialist at Abt Global Inc. will serve as the subject matter expert for the administration, governance, and compliance of the organization's retirement programs, including 401(k) and ESOP offerings.

You will oversee plan operations, drive accuracy, and partner with payroll, HRIS, and vendors to ensure data integrity. In this role, you will prepare governance materials for leadership committees, manage audits and reconciliations, and support broader benefits administration

Qualifications

• 9+ years of ESOP and 401(k) administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
• Experience with retirement plan audits, compliance testing, governance, and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to communicate retirement plan information to employees and governance committees.

Responsibilities

• Administers 401K eligibility, enrollment, contributions, employer matching, beneficiary elections, distributions.
• Oversees ESOP governance with senior leaders and external counsel.
• Develops materials for board subcommittee on Abt Global compliance.
• Coordinates with recordkeepers and third-party admins to resolve issues.
• Audits retirement data for accuracy.
• Supports payroll retirement contribution reconciliations.
• Maintains retirement plan documentation and resources.
• Supports day-to-day employee benefit programs.
• Supports HRIS integrations for Oracle HCM and related systems.
