Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an experienced ESH leader to implement corporate, field, and office safety policies across sites. You will champion The Layton Way and Constructing with Integrity while managing safety programs and regulatory reviews.

The role requires 7+ years in ESH, a Bachelor's in ESH or related field, and GSP accreditation. CCIP preferred; strong OSHA/MSHA/DOT/EPA knowledge is essential for this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety & Health or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of ESH experience required.
• GSP accreditation required; CCIP experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA regulations.
• Accreditations preferred: CHST, ASP, CSP, ICRA.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs across projects, including CCIP and risk management.
• Provide regulatory interpretation and technical guidance.
• Develop and implement project-specific safety plans.
• Oversee audits, incident reviews, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate training for Safety 360 and subcontractor compliance.
• Interface with executives, site teams, subcontractors and regulators.
