Job summary

Layton Construction is looking for an experienced ESH leader to implement corporate, field, and office safety policies across multiple project sites. You will monitor compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations, lead safety training, and coordinate corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in ESH.
• 5+ years of ESH experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA regulations.
• Accreditations preferred: CHST, ASP, CSP, ICRA.
• Basic Spanish language communication preferred.
• Industrial hygiene knowledge and best practices.
• Skilled communicator—verbal and written presentations.

Responsibilities

• Champion The Layton Way by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Uphold safety culture across Layton project sites and subcontractors.
• Manage safety programs including CCIP and other risk management initiatives.
• Provide regulatory and policy review, interpretation, and technical guidance.
• Recommend improvements and conduct technical reviews of ESH tools, processes, policies, and training.
• Review audit summaries and injury statistics to identify risks and propose structured safety programs.
