Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an ESH professional to implement corporate, field, and office safety policies across multiple project sites. You will lead safety programs, review regulations, and guide teams to uphold safety, honesty, unity, and quality in every project.

The role requires 7+ years of ESH experience, GSP accreditation, and strong communication skills to partner with site leadership and government agencies (OSHA, EPA, MSHA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety & Health or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of ESH experience required.
• GSP accreditation required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA regulations.
• Accreditations preferred: CHST, ASP, CSP, ICRA.

Responsibilities

• Implement corporate, field, and office ESH policies and procedures across assigned business units and project sites.
• Deliver predictable outcomes for internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Manage safety programs on all assigned projects, including CCIP and other complex risk management initiatives.
• Provide regulatory and policy review, interpretation, and technical guidance.
• Develop and oversee project-specific safety programs and ensure subcontractor OSHA/MSHA compliance.
