Job summary

Layton Construction Company in the United States is seeking an experienced ESH leader to implement corporate, field, and office safety policies across multiple sites.

You will manage safety programs, oversee audits, and coordinate with OSHA, MSHA, and EPA while guiding subcontractors and project teams. The role emphasizes training, incident reviews, and continuous improvement to reduce risk. A strong background in ESH and CCIP is preferred; basic Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety & Health or related field.
• 7+ years of ESH experience.
• GSP accreditation required; CHST/ASP/CSP/ICRA preferred.
• OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA regulations knowledge.
• CCIP experience preferred.
• Basic Spanish language communication preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs on projects and ensure compliance.
• Regulatory review and guidance on policies.
• Develop safety trends from data with leadership.
• Coordinate with OSHA/MSHA/EPA and subcontractors.
• Deliver training including Safety 360 and OSHA/MSHA compliance.
• Oversee audits and incident reviews.
• Support injury management and cost control.
