Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a seasoned Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) professional to implement programs across project sites, lead safety initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance on multiple projects. You will manage CCIP programs and coordinate with leadership, subcontractors, and agencies.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in ESH or related field and 7+ years of ESH experience; strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA regulations; excellent communication and problem-solving skills;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety & Health or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of ESH experience required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA regulations.
• Accreditations preferred: CHST, ASP, CSP, ICRA.
• CCIP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety programs on all projects including CCIP and risk initiatives.
• Provide regulatory guidance and technical safety policy interpretation.
• Review safety audits, incidents, and trends to propose improvements.
• Interface with project leadership, subcontractors, and regulators (OSHA, EPA, MSHA).
• Develop and oversee project-specific safety programs and training.
• Ensure incident reporting and preventive measures are consistently applied.
